La Chabola Pop Up first appeared in South East Asia in 2010. Born out of Miguel Angel's love of authentic Spanish food, and the Spanish tradition of sharing good food with good friends. From these first informal gatherings of friends meeting to share in the simple pleasure of the taste of home, word spread and soon there there were requests for Miguel Angel to prepare his signature dishes at events, family gatherings and special occasions:  La Chabola Pop Up  was born!   

 

 

THE EVOLUTION

Since returning to Europe, Miguel Angel has reunited with good friend Vanesa, a Spanish chef who shares his passion for creating simple authentic and delicious menus, and for bringing people closer to the food they enjoy by preparing it from scratch on site, transforming simple gatherings of friends or family into unforgettable events where everyone comes together and participates in this Spanish tradition.

Miguel Angel and Vanesa offer an experience you won't find in any restaurant; using ingredients exclusively imported from Spain or handpicked locally for their quality and flavour, they serve up dish after dish of Spanish favourites from the surprisingly simple, to the unusual, complex and bold, sharing their knowledge and passion as they prepare each dish by hand- so you can appreciate first hand the patience and flare that go into creating truly stunning food.
